American pop band OneRepublic will headline the 2016 Grey Cup halftime show Nov. 27 at Toronto’s BMO Field.

The band’s fourth album, “Oh My My,” will be released Oct. 7. It’s the followup release to “Native,” which has sold over five million units worldwide.

“OneRepublic is one of the biggest bands in the world — they have played for millions of fans internationally and we are thrilled to have them at this year’s Grey Cup in Toronto,” said Christina Litz, the CFL’s senior vice-president of marketing and content. “This promises to be quite a show for the fans attending Grey Cup at BMO Field and for the millions of others watching in Canada and around the world.”

Rock group Fall Out Boy headlined last year’s Grey Cup halftime show in Winnipeg.

OneRepublic is also performing Thursday in Denver as part of the 2016 NFL Kickoff festivities. The Super Bowl-champion Broncos will take on the Carolina Panthers in the regular-season opener.
