The reason this photo of two women embracing in the subway has gone viral will actually blow your mind. **Prepare**

Last week, this picture of two women in Brazil holding each other at a train stop has gone super viral, after it was posted on Facebook by a guy named Filippe.

facebook viral post

The caption accompanying the picture read:

“I am not prejudiced. I think people should do whatever they want to with their lives. But I think it’s absurd that I should be forced to witness a scene like this.”

“What people do in private is their business only, but yes, what they do in public concerns me. And I refused to see a scene like this and consider it normal.”

REALLY? At first I was shocked…then kept reading

He goes on…

“They’re challenging social conventions, and that can be dangerous. What if some tragedy strikes, or worse, if someone dies, who’s to blame. What would happen to a child who sees this scene every day? Kids will think it’s normal to wait for the subway on the yellow line. So don’t act like that guy over there. Follow the example of the girls,” he finished.

NOTE: THE GUY IN THE FAR LEFT WITH HIS FEET OVER THE YELLOW LINE!

train safety

PHEW! Now you’re probably REALLY happy you read to the end of this!!!

Filippe (the good samaritan he is) is actually pointing out the safety of staying behind the yellow line…

What he didn’t realise is just how viral his post would go.

Good job Filippe in promoting train safety!!

Love it!
