A burlesque dancer from Seattle was on her way home and ready to board a flight from Boston the airline Jet Blue told her she wasn’t allowed to get on the plane because her shorts were too short.

So she went and bought new shorts at the airport and was allowed to get on the flight

A  rep from Jet Blue defended the decision when the story hit the media, saying the shorts may have offended other people on the flight.

Since the story broke Jet Blue HAS given Maggie McMuffin (that’s her stage name) an apology,  reimbursed her for the shorts and also gave her a $200 travel voucher.

Maggie took a picture of her shorts she had on when she first tried to board the plane, yes they’re pretty short, but there’s nothing hangin’ out.

Personally, I wouldn’t have been offended by the shorts but that’s just me.

Was the airline wrong for not wanting her to wear them on the flight?
