Napster is back!

Grab your drain chain, bleach your hair, and re-watch some Dawson’s Creek because it’s time to take a trip back to the early 2000s. Napster is back!

Streaming Now

Have you ever heard of Rhapsody? They were one of the first services online that jumped on board with Music Streaming. Similar to Apple Music, Google Play, or Spotify, you can subscribe to rhapsody to listen to the music you like. Rhapsody hasn’t been doing that great for a little while. Their user base isn’t growing as quickly as rival service providers. They recently had to lay off staff. It was time for a change and that meant a new name. A few years ago the company had bought the assets of Napster, which included the company name, so they’re resurrecting it in the hopes that the nostalgia might bring a new audience to the streaming service.

Napster Back In The Day

Did you use Napster back when it was popular? Or maybe you were on one of the similar services like Win MX, Grokster, Morpheus or Limewire? To this day I STILL have burned CDs from this era and it’s always interesting going back and listening to that music. It’s like a little time capsule that takes you back to the wild west days before paying for digital music was an easy option.

Your Burned CD Collection

Do you still remember your first burned CD? What tracks were on there? As far as I can remember (and I listened to this CD a LOT) mine went like this:
