Where do rockstars hang out when in Winnipeg?

Simple Plan came to MTS Centre on July 7 when they played a show with Blink-182. This is the first show for Simple Plan in what will kick off many months of touring that will lead them through Canada, Mexico, and then back to Canada.

To learn a little more about the tour, their singles, and who the ONE artist they’ve been wanting to record a duet with for about a decade, check out the video below:

Simple Plan talk touring, growing up, and reveal who they’d love to duet with!

When in Rome, er, Winnipeg!

After the interview, I ran into Jeff, the band’s guitarist. He and I got to chatting and Jeff said the band had the chance to do a little exploring in Winnipeg. So where does Simple Plan hang out when in Winnipeg? Turns out, the Kingshead Pub in the Exchange. And they’re not alone. Sam Roberts was in Winnipeg for the Folk Fest and he met the boys from SP at the pub for a round of darts!

If you were going to suggest a place for a rockstar to visit while in Winnipeg, where would you send them?
