What’s wake up time like for you? Do you love getting out of bed in the morning or are you a “5 more minutes, mom” type of person?

 

If you’re the latter, you may wanna re-think that philosophy! Snoozing isn’t good for your body! Why do we hit snooze…probably because we think that will allow our bodies to finish it’s natural sleep cycle so we wake up feeling good. Nope, that’s not the case!

 

The crew over at ASAP Science explains it like this…“After you hit snooze and drift off, your brain starts its sleep cycle all over again. When the alarm goes off a second time, you’re likely at an even deeper, earlier part of your sleep cycle, which results in you feeling even worse than you did the first time.”
