Holy TV crossover, Batman!

The colorful 1960s version of the Caped Crusader will team up with the groovy 1970s rendition of Wonder Woman in a new comic book series.

DC Comics announced Friday at New York Comic Con that “‘Batman ’66 Meets Wonder Woman ’77” will unite the characters from the “Batman” TV show staring Adam West and Burt Ward with the “Wonder Woman” TV series featuring Lynda Carter for the first time.

“Batman ’66” writer Jeff Parker says “it really feels like Lynda Carter and Adam West going into action again, this time together.”

“Wonder Woman ’77” writer Marc Andreyko says the crossover series will “span 30 years as these two legendary superheroes fight an ancient evil across the decades.”

The 12-chapter comic book series will launch Nov. 23.
