NBC “Today” show personality Billy Bush will likely have some explaining to do when he resurfaces on the air.

When that will be isn’t clear. An NBC News spokesman said Sunday Bush will not appear Monday as host of the “Today” third hour at 9 a.m., a job he’s held for two months. Further details were not provided.

Bush is the other person on a 2005 tape of Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump bragging about kissing, groping and trying to have sex with women who weren’t his wife. Bush laughed at some of Trump’s comments, later encouraging an actress to hug Trump.

The 44-year-old Bush has been brutalized on his own Facebook page since the tape surfaced on Friday. He was working entertainment news show “Access Hollywood” at the time.
