Looking for a new family pet or a furry cuddle buddy? The Winnipeg Humane Society is running out of room for cats and NEEDS your help!

Last week they put out a call for help on their Facebook page. They had close to 437 cats in its care as of Friday and in the last week used one month’s supply of cat foot and litter alone.  Humane society staff have to house cats in portable carriers and part of the reason for the increase is that the Humane Society no longer euthanizes sick cats upon arrival.

The Winnipeg Humane Society is offering free cat adoptions until Aug. 18…If you cant take a cat full time, you can also foster until a home can be found.
