Marcie’s Birthday Fundraiser was once again a complete success! This year ALL money raised directly benefited Before the Bridge Senior K-9 Rescue Inc.. Senior dogs need love too, if not more. I’ll never forget the first time I worked with the rescue and one of the fosters said “they have three strikes against them: they’re older, they’re not as cute as puppies, and they usually have health issues”. That really stuck with me.

Apparently 96 dogs attended event at Sprockett’s Doggy Day Camp, it may have been over 100 (some were in arms, carriers, and strollers that might not have been counted).

With the help of family, friends, and many local makers and businesses we managed to raise $1852 for Before The Bridge!

6 Degrees Photobooth Co. were on site for some photobooth fun. You can view the entire gallery here.

Photographer Dan Harper was there to capture all the joy as well!

CityNews covered the event as well!

THANK YOU to all the 96 (possibly more dogs) and the humans for taking time out of their weekends to celebrate my best friend’s birthday and more importantly raise money for an incredibly worthy cause! – Karly
