Talk about a triumphant return to the Grande Ole Opry.  After seven years, Taylor Swift made an appearance at the 2020 ACM Awards and for the first time live, performed a fan-favourite, Betty.

For this special performance, Taylor did her own hair, makeup, and styling.  Taylor rocked a sparkling, burgundy-coloured turtleneck, tan trousers (both Stella McCartney), black heels, and curly hair, which was tied back in a low bun.

Following the release of Folklore, Taylor shared the meaning behind Betty, which was used for the reveal of Blake Lively and Ryan Renolds’ third daughter, born October 2019, “[James] has lost the love of his life basically and doesn’t understand how to get it back. I think we all have these situations in our lives where we learn to really, really give a heartfelt apology for the first time.  Everybody makes mistakes, everybody really messes up sometimes and this is a song that I wrote from the perspective of a 17-year-old boy. I’ve always loved that in music you can kinda slip into different identities and you can sing from other people’s perspectives. So that’s what I did on this one.”

Using just a stool and guitar throughout her performance, it’s safe it say Taylor will NEVER go out of style.
