Miley and Pete told Jimmy Fallon how ‘they once got matching tattoos after becoming friends on SNL back in 2018,’ which reads ‘we babies,’ “We did this SNL sketch where we’re babies that were rapping — trap babies. One of the many brilliant ideas that I bring to the SNL table,”  Pete shared.  Miley then chimed in with, “At the end, our excuse of it all … Larry [David] said, ‘What is going on?’ and we said, ‘We babies.’  And for some reason we looked at each other and was like, ‘That’s a great tattoo.’” As soon as Pete and Miley had the idea, Pete had his tattoo artist come to the SNL set.

Unfortunately for Pete, he didn’t keep his tat for too long.  He told Miley, “I burned mine off and you still have yours.”   Miley then serenaded Pete with a cover of Gladys Knight & the Pips’ ‘It Should Have Been Me.’
