Elton John and Britney Spears have dropped the official music video for the Joel Corry remix of ‘Hold Me Closer.’  The music video, directed by Rebekah Creative and produced by Greatcoat Films, pays homage to Elton and Britney as dancers wear iconic outfits throughout different eras from both artists.

‘Hold Me Closer’ is a combination of Elton’s 1971 classic ‘Tiny Dancer’ and 1992’s ‘The One.’  The song peaked at No.6 on the Billboard Hot 100 and as Billboard notes, “The song marked Spears’ highest-charting single since 2012’s “Scream and Shout” with will.i.am.”  Joel’s remix arrived earlier this month and is the first official remix of ‘Hold Me Closer.’  The original track dropped in late August and is Britney’s first new music in six years.
