Miley Cyrus got court-ordered protection from a man she claims is obsessed with her and showed up at her home after being released from prison. The singer filed for a restraining order against Alexander Kardalian. Miley says a guy has been sending her obsessive letters since 2018, asking for money and making explicit comments about his desire for her. She says his “obsessive behaviour” worsened in the summer of 2022. He showed up at her Los Angeles property twice and was kicked out. Miley says the guy is using her address for health insurance and wrote a letter saying he “doesn’t care if he lives.”

Kardalian, who was arrested in December 2022 and imprisoned at San Quentin State Prison until August, is believed to have severe mental health challenges and a dangerous fixation/obsession with her. The judge granted Miley a temporary restraining order against the guy. He is now barred from contacting her, harassing her, or attending her public events or concerts. He must stay 100 yards away from Miley, her home, car, and performance venues.
