What’s On: Deadlifts for Dreams in Support of The Dream Factory

What's On: Dave Beakley, owner of Midtown Barbell, is hosting a fundraiser this Saturday (March 30th) called "Deadlifts for Dreams". The event is in support of The Dream Factory, funds raised will help fulfill the dreams of kids with life-threatening illnesses like Karly's cousin Maya Chernichan. Maya was diagnosed with ALL (acute lymphoblastic leukemia in August. When she's done treatment and healthy her dream is to go to Disney World. Deadlifts for Dreams is Saturday, March 30th at Midtown Barbell (349 Wardlaw). Lifting begins at 10:30 am, spectators are encouraged to come out and cheer on the 25 competitors! Good job Dave!
